It is summer and I am back home in Lofoten.
There is not that much going on here, but I will write about two events that is interesting:

Sabine Lang and Daniel Baumann are installing their hotel project Hotel Everland at the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig these days, and it might just be, as the slogan says; the coolest hotel room on earth.
I would very much like to test out the romantic myth and place it in Lofoten (can you imagine; Hotel Everland in No Mans Land ?).
It is just that Carsten höller is working on a more site spesific project for Artistic Interruptions not far from my home town, I think I cannot.
Anyway, I wisited the hotel room today and I would very much like to test it, but I have to see if any magazine might be interested to reimburse me for it.

I might be no native english speaker (nor german for that sake), and I guess all that have read this blog notice this.
I do not however believe that there are language barriers that prevents me from understanding certain texts in english, and especially catalogue texts.
Now i understand that this might be a result of writers believing being unclear or obscure is being clever.
The word for this, that I learned while trying to find the equal to the word 'Obscure', is:
obfuscate. It is a nice word, it rolls nicely on the tongue and it is describing very accurate what I am experiencing while reading ... no name or texts mentioned...;
It is an effort to make it difficult to understand or see trough.

those crazy swedes/danes/french or what ever they are -- not only did they decide to learn Esperanto (who takes time to do such a thing?) and apply the idea of the language to other subjects and transform them into Esperanto Style (A Sit Com, A fast food restaurant etc.), no -- they also had to start a football team;
The Esperanto Team:
